Wow now thats a lot of mods an good ones. Couple questions, what was the cost of 2nd ac and how was the additional 30 amp added? Do you just plug extra at the pedistal or all wired to 50 amp?

The AC unit was a 15,000 btu, $750 and I had about $30 in a breaker and a box. I had to fish a wire from the vent opening over to the wall and down and then underneath the bed. I wired into the new box I bought and put a 20 amp breaker in it. Then ran a wire out the bottom of the bed area with the other wires into the rear drivers bay and installed an additional 30 amp receptacle. I can use a 30 to 15 amp adapter and plug into the post if need be but I bought a double 30amp dongle to a 50 amp plug. Installing the actual was the easiest part! lol. I also got the ac with heat strip.

This made a world of difference, with just the one air if we were in full sun on a hot day we couldnt get the coach below about 85* now its no problem.

Downside if it bothers you is the unit runs all the time when you turn it on, you can set a temp but it just shuts the compressor off and the fan keeps running. We only run it during the day, fortunately it hasnt been that hot at night that we needed it

Additional Bay storage

I added a 5" square storage tube in one of the bays, the second bay back on the drivers side. I removed the board on the top left side and saw a lot of wasted space that could be used. For what?? Heck, I dont know but at least it will be available. only took 1/2 hour to do. I bought a 5" square vinyl post 8' cost $25 at Home depot plus 2 endcaps at $3.67 each. I cut the tube 52" long. Glued one end on, traced the tube on the board I pulled out and cut that out to fit over. On the opposite end I used plumbers hanging tape. Sealed the bay side with silicone and done.
PS: I also have an endcap with a knob for the inside.

We're often asked "Hey you're going to the RV show--looking for a new one?" and, lately, my answer has been "Nope, just getting ours to where we love it, just going for ideas"

Latest add is a water meter so when boondocking I know exactly how much water we are consuming daily. $15, I adapted it with some hose fittings to pex and put inline $15 Plus $6 fittings.

Macerator mod

What I am doing now to make use of both tanks is I put twist on shutoff on outlet, they after a couple days I slightly open the grey valve and then the black tank, that way the two tanks can level and you can get max use out of tanks. Chances are you will get more water into the black tank which never hurts. You could just then use the usual stinky slinky and dump, but I connected my macerator and pump it out. No mess that way.

What did all those mods do to your GVW?

I upgraded front anti-sway bar, added SumoSprings on the front as well as a steering Stabilizer; added a supplemental rear anti-sway bar and added SuperSpring on the rear all for better handling. Also, replaced 12V house batteries with 4 6V Golf Cart AGMS along with a 2KW Inverter; as well as RV Armor Roofing System; in addition to a bunch of other enhancements none of which added appreciable weight. The above enumerated improvements caused us to exceed GVWR by 4% when traveling with full water and fuel. We do not, however, exceed either front or rear GAWR nor are we over the GCVWR.

I dont honestly know but I cant imagine much since they are mostly small items or replaced them altogether. My shipping weight was 14,760 and gvw is 18k. The AC would be the heaviest thing and it was probably 120# Opps, washer dryer was about #150
