An update... tomorrow is the big day. We are excited about joining the club and taking our new 35C out for an extended weekend of getting to know her both at a campground and boondocking.


We had the dealer install two additional house batteries and I am looking at installing 400W of solar in the next few weeks for our first major upgrade. We also are installing our TM66 TPMS and I have a Winegard G2 Carryout to go with a new DirecTV box to check out. If all goes well, I will mount the Carryout on the roof.


Does anyone know if the Hurricane comes pre-wired for satellite on the roof?

Well, we picked up the coach on Thursday as planned and we completed our shakedown trip doing some campground stay and some boondocking to check out everything. Only one item on the dealer list so far - the fresh water tank has a leak. Only other things were items that we either forgot or misplaced, but all in all this is a very nice upgrade from our previous older motorhome.


There is still much work to be done (adding solar, satellite dish for starters) but I love the way it drives and the Ford V-10 5-speed isn't an issue - it is actually an improvement over the 1999 V-10 we used to own (which was apparently a 4-speed!)

Just wanted to update, I called Thor parts and spoke to Kathy (sp?) and she said they will only sell parts through their dealers. She was very kind and checked the part # from my VIN and gave that to me to order.
