Side ramp is great idea

I like the looks of this. Had not heard of this branch of Thor. We currently have a 2018 Hurricane 27K. Bought it new and have enjoyed it. Health issues have kept us from traveling over the past 1 1/2 years.

We have entertained moving from a taller Class A to a lower Class C.

I like the side ramp. That would be great for entering with my walker. The "garage" would provide additional bed space (blow up bed) if we needed it. We don't have any toys that would fit into the garage, but are shopping for a smaller enclosed car trailer to tow our 1932 Ford Roadster.

Will be looking forward to seeing more about the Outlaw 29S.

I'm sorry to hear that health issues are forcing your hand. I hope you find a rig that can best suit your needs.

That is a sweet layout! My motorcycle would fit in there. Now, I'm driving a RC25 towing a cargo trailer.

What kind of bike do you have?

2003 Harley-Davidson FXST Soft tail standard. I bought it new, it now has 118,000 miles on it.

We always used a cargo trailer in the past, but that adds 12-16' to the RV. The side door on the Outlaw would be best for me because I can access the bike from the side without disconnecting the tow behind. Also, my wife likes the floor plan better with side door.

I’ve only ridden motorized bikes a few times, and they were smaller than what some here ride, so I’m curious how difficult it would be to park and secure a heavy motorcycle at a slight angle inside cargo bay. Is that even an option?

6X8 diagonally should be long enough for most any bike, but I realize you can’t manhandle a 600 ~ 800 pound bike like the 15-pound bikes I often ride.

When you crank down of the front end, and compress the suspension: the bike naturally tends to stand up vertically...
A couple of straps to keep the rear wheel from dancing around in the garage, and you're good to go!

That’s not what I was asking.

The garage is only 8’ long (width of RV). If motorcycle is 8’-6” long, how hard is it to drive it into garage at an angle? I don’t mean tilted on it’s side. Of course you’d want it upright.

Oh! You'll just have to get a shorter bike!

Thank you Bob for the kind message. We're doing so much better now but still not sure when hubby will feel like he's ready for a road trip. I had surgery in 2017 and he had a major operation in May 2018. We're working our way back to better days!

The best of luck to you both, while you're on the road to complete recoveries!
