Outlaw 38MB refrigerator

We currently have an older Outlaw and the refrigerator can run on propane. It looks like the newer 38MB's are electric only and this is what we plan on purchasing soon. I'm curious how often people are running their generator to keep the batteries charged. Will I need to add or change the batteries just to make it through the night? Also, if anyone has added solar, how much did you add and how much did it help? Any and all advice is appreciated!

Outlaw 38mb

We have just purchased our new Outlaw 38mb. They come with 100 watts of solar panels already installed. So far it is constantly charging our house batteries. We have yet to take our 1st trip but I'm excited to see how it does.

New to the Forum & Rv'ing. Any help is appreciated

Same here... 200 watts on roof... less than $300 for panels and 40amp MPPT controller. Currently researching adding inverter to optionally run fridge off of 110v while rolling.

I used to have to put the batteries on a trickle charger while parked in "storage" here at home. Now I don't even think about it... Batteries are ALWAYS fully charged (and cycled).

When you store your RV, since it has the solar panels, do you leave the main power switch on? If I understand right, you have to in order to charge the main batteries, correct?

2021 Outlaw 38KB. No, I don't leave the main power switch on, the solar charges/maintains the house batteries with the switch off.

X2 that. No need to turn on if wired correctly.

What batteries do you have? My 2016 came with 4 6volt wired parallel and series. Assume you have a better battery set up. Thanks
