Unhappy Please help! I can't figure the power out!

I have a 2011 Fourwinds Hurricane Class A RV

We are connected to shore power and my batteries are draining at a high rate. We have taken them out and charged them fully and put them back in. They charge up and they charge down and then they go on low and the thermostat starts clicking and I can't figure it out. My husband is at work most of the time and my son and I are freezing. Currently cutting off the 50 amp breaker and running the engine to charge them so that the furnace works. Any help or trouble shooting is so appreciated. Where do I even start?? We are currently in Topeka, KS and spent all of last winter in Colorado Springs so I just don't understand.

Make sure a fuse is not blown or breaker is not tripped on your power panel for the converter/battery charger. If you do not have DC voltage in your coach with the batteries out, the converter is not producing DC voltage (which also charges the battery).

Your battery disconnect switch must be in the "use" position in order to charge the batteries when connected to shore power.
