Propane Outlet - Quantum RW 28

Wondering if anyone with a Quantum or other Class C coach with the extra port for propane near the rear passenger side (for grill, fire pit, etc.) has purchased a 12' hose to connect the grill etc. and can provide a part no or link to a vendor?
Also, does the port have regulated pressure or does the extended hose need to have a regulator attached. I've previously just used my grill with a 5lb. Propane bottle with regulator.

Thanks much for any information you are able to share!
Keith

You can either purchase a "Low-pressure" grill; for use with that propane outlet, or I think that you can add a regulator to the system: back by the tank...
(I just bought a low-pressure grill, so I'm not sure about the mechanics of a conversion.)
We got our 12' hose for it from Camping World: we grabbed a Sales Associate, and had them pick out the right one for us!

We just had a similar discussion about his yesterday. The port at the back of the RV is already regulated. Whatever appliance you connect to it should be considered "low pressure" which just means it is expecting the propane to be regulated before it gets to it.

Most grills I am finding are "high pressure" meaning that you can hook a tank or a coleman bottle up to it and the grille has a regulator built into it.

The rule of thumb is that you cannot use two regulators in a series. Since the RV has a regulator already you have to modify your appliance to remove the regulator or buy a "low pressure" appliance to begin with.

Remove the Grill's regulator: That's the part that I was trying to remember...

Thanks!

Great question. We are wanting to hook up a high pressure Blackstone griddle and have not figured out how to do it.

I was told that the regulator reduces the pressure to useable. If you have two regs in series 1st one reduces second acts as a pass thru. 2 Works for me w/o a problem.
