Rear cap cracks

Just finished detailing our 5 month old 2018 Thor Windsport 31Z and noticed a few thin cracks on the top corners and one on the bottom. They are hairline thin cracks Nothing has hit it, so appears to be a defect of some kind. Has anyone had this issue before? Is it common for the gelcoat to crack like this on a relatively new RV?

Unhappy I have cracks as well.

Hi Rsanchez1194,

I purchased a 2019 Gemini 24 LP last August and when covering my rig for the season in October I noticed hairline cracks in my front cap passenger side. I took photos and will check in with my dealer this spring, they are a 6 hour drive for me. There is no way it is anything other than material fault so I hope they cover it. I am somewhat worried that they will just fill the cracks with some crap and call it good. Then in a year when they show up again its all on me. Please keep us informed what your dealer does, hopefully you get the right fix.

Cracks on my front cap on Axis.

I posted this in the Maintenance section, but no one responded that they have had the same issues. It is at CW waiting on a reply from Thor.

I have hairline cracks on a radius corner of my 2016 Synergy's rear cap. I just noticed them this spring, and there was no evidence of anything hitting the fiberglass. I hope it isn't an indication if something else getting ready to happen. The photo needs to be rotated 90 degrees clockwise to view it correctly but I think you can see the cracks well enough.
