The problem is that I haven't figured out how to get the t.v. to move away from the wall at all so that I can access the back. Does it move? Is there a trick to it I haven't figured out yet?
Which TV in which RV?

the seiki above the door and in the bedroom. I would have thought I could find a usb port on the back IF I could access it.

Although you may be able to power the Chromecast with the TV's USB port, the device itself plugs into an HDMI port. You will also need a good internet signal to connect the Chromecast to.

And we still don't know what RV you have.

Here’s a tip
We found the Roku Ultra to be well worth the extra cost for one reason only.. it has the ability to plug a pair of headphones into the remote control. You may not think that’s handy unless you travel with a granddaughter who insists on watching her shows at high volumes while you’re driving.
There’s nothing I’ve found to be worse than the sound being too loud while I’m trying to see.

Another handy use is if you wanna watch the bedroom tv while the back a/c is running full blast. You can even plug a headphone jack splitter into the remote and you can both hear then.
I never even thought I would use that option but it’s been very handy.

thanks, that is something worth thinking about. I know my sweetheart and I have used closed caption when it is too hard to hear over other noises.

I agree, if you are depending on park cable, it would be best to replace the TV's with smart TV's, not that expensive, just a lot of labor to get it done. I haven't as we virtually always use a roof mounted dish, with direct TV which works well for us.
