New problem with Class C Chateau

We did a drive through bumpy puddled 35 to 50 mph roads yesterday in Nova Scotia in rain so hard you couldn't see 40' ahead. Yes it was off and on, but total rain day. When we got set up and put the bed slide out we noticed water had seemed to "splash up" in the bed slide somehow and both side boards sitting on the floor have a mist of water. Seems like they were splattered somehow? Don't think there's leaks under the frame but can't figure how it happened. Calling our Chateau "Murphy" on this trip. LOL.

I'm sorry to hear that "Murphy" has given you a trip that has been too interesting for your tastes...
But this might just not be all that much of a problem... If the weather conditions were that severe: just about anything that isn't sealed-up to an almost airtight condition... might just get a bit wet...
If it's not happening during a more "normal" rainstorm: I'd chalk it up to Mother Nature, and let it go at that...
Good luck!

I would imagine that it's the rain water that was driven under the slide awning, and wind/air pushed it into the coach while driving - water can do a lot of things when it's forced to!

...it's really not uncommon, though, to see a bit of water, sometimes more than you'd like, around slide outs, after either heavy rain, or after driving thru it. Ours has done this in the past, though after we left an rv park after a night of rain. The rain comes down the side of the slide, and when you pull IN the slide, the water comes in with it, even though there may be a slide 'seal'. The water then eventually continues down the slide and onto the floor.

I try to remember to wipe down the slide ends when getting ready to leave after recent rains, but most of the time other things take precedence.
I rarely remember : /

I have a 2017 Chateau and my mud flap kept falling off on the passenger side dually. Thor dealer put the same damage mud flap back on after having it two weeks. During the rainstorm the water had come up through under the kitchen sink and ran all the way down into the passenger seat. They say the bottom is sealed but it's not. Where the water lines came in there are holes and the water splashed up through there and made quite the mess. I had to pull off in a rainstorm and use every towel to soap up under the bottom drawer the kitchen floor all down the steps and around the inverter under the passenger seat.
The new mud flap has been on order now for 6 months and my dealer has never called to say it's in. So I'm calling Thor directly and hopefully they'll send me one directly. Put the mud flap is a terrible design and that metal bar that goes across always loses its cruise from the fiberglass bracket that's holding it. Currently I do not have a mud flap on that side I'm going to try to avoid rain and driving in the rain.
