Rain x question

Any reason why I should not apply Rain X to all of my coach windows? The box has a bunch of warnings about non-clear surfaces and anti-reflective coatings. None of that applies to my Challenger side windows does it?

I'm thinking that would make it easier to avoid spotting when I wash the coach. Is there something that I'm not thinking of?

Thanks!

I use Aquapel and have no issues, only lasts about 6 months but better than RainX. Used by most car dealers. I get it from ebay.

It can't hurt...
But it seems like a lot of effort; for not much gain...

RainX might help your window spotting issue, but have you tried some Rain X spot free rinse. If you have hard water spots on your windows, you have them on the rest of the finish, too!

My experience, just applying wax to your windows will accomplish the same result.

FYI, Something to remember..... Most homes that use water softeners like I do. ***Do Not have the water softener hooked up to the outside spigots,, Due to watering lawns etc.
This = Very hard water washing your rig and Hard Water Spots. I did have a plumber run me a line to my garage spigot for washing cars, windows, etc. Also if washing house windows use inside water.

Unfortunately, we are at a temporary rental without a softener.

I have used Rain-X on all my autos and motorhomes for years. It does help spotting on all windows, and definitely aids in vision driving through rainstorms.
