ACE 29.3 tv crank location

We have a 2016 29.3 and after taking several trips we were wondering what you think about the television crank location. Ours cannot be reached without removing the cushion from the dinette and climbing onto the wooden bench to turn the crank. Maybe if you are 6-11 you could reach it, but I doubt most people can. Just asking what your thoughts are concerning this and hoping Thor actually reads these posts.

I don't know anyone with this crank system that hasn't had their crank come apart, usually resulting in having to buy a new one. I had a parts guy tell me they kept a whole box under the counter and sold them for $7.99 each. I asked why no one makes an aluminum replacement that won't fall apart and he looked at me like I was crazy. I guess they sell a lot of them. I consider the system junk. Coachmen uses the same junk as well. But you have to wonder what they were thinking when they placed the antenna where they did on this model. Stupid comes to mind.

Yea, I bought a folding stool too! I cannot reach the vents in my unit without a boost... I think they were designed for those 6 foot or taller.
