Electrical Outlets Dead

I have a 2018 wind sport 29M. The TV outlets on the bedroom and kitchen area, including the rear outside refrigerator, are out. Checked the panel on the side of the bed. Are there any other breakers hidden somewhere. Of course the dealer said they fixed it. Any help would be appreciated.

Are the other 120V outlets hot? Perhaps your GFCI has tripped?

Those are all powered by the inverter or its internal ATS. There is also likely a breaker for the inverter output. Check your inverter status, input and output, reset it if necessary.

The GFCI is ok. The other outlets are hot.

Are they “hot” or “out”. It’d be two entirely different problems….

Other than the breaker panel and inverter, there should not be any other AC breakers. But being a kitchen and outside outlet, it does sound like a GFCI problem. Some have had a loose connection on the back of the GFCI that daisy-chains to the next outlet, so even with the GFCI outlet working, it is not passing the power on.

As ACE said, they are powered from your inverter. That's so they can be powered when you aren't hooked to a mains supply or using your generator, for example to let kids watch TV whilst you are driving.

Is your inverter turned on and showing battery voltage?

Have those outlets worked since it was replaced?

How can you say it's working properly if the outlets it provides power to have no voltage?

All the other AC outlets that are not on the GFCI are hot. Only the outlets that are downstream on the GFCI are not working.

Those outlets are not GFCI, they are powered by the inverter.

Do the outside receptacles and your bathroom outlet have power? They are on the GFCI supply circuit.

Which shows your problem to be on the inverter circuit not the GFCI circuit.

There is a reset button on the inverter, maybe try that first.

Have you CONFIRMED that your inverter is IN FACT outputting AC voltage? Just because the fan/lights are on is NOT proof. For sanity, test the output terminals.

Then, with CONFIRMED voltage at the inverter terminals:

It's a simple process to pull the receptacles and check for voltage using a basic circuit tester. Start pulling the ones which are not working - check for loose wires at the terminals.

If you STILL have no voltage at the receptacles, I would suspect a loose wire junction - wire nuts not properly sized/secured... hopefully inside a junction box.

At first all you need is a non contact AC voltage tester. Once you do not have AC present then use a meter or a plug in tester. After it has been verified that there is no voltage, then pull the AC socket out and check the connections. It can be in a working socket or a non working socket. I have not opened a socket in my Class A, but in my old fifth wheel, the sockets were insulation displacement. One of the wires popped out because the assembles never properly seated it. What a pain to find it. The sockets may or not be daisy chained. Up to three romex connections can be on the back of one socket. That is where I found my open AC connection.

Check the fault switch button on your (most likely) bathroom power outlet. There are two switches between outlets. One is black and difficult to see and one is red. Push the black button in. This happened several times to me.

I had problem like that. Behind the plugs one of the wires wasn't pushed into its pocket and was bent. Once I fixed it the other outlets worked.

Tried all the above to still not working. Now it's at camping World for that and steering stabilizer.

Thanks everyone for your input.
