Got the new rig home and have worked out all but one minor problem with a shade. Dealer has one on order for us.

But I do have a question for anyone that has the 2017 Ford F550 chassis. How does the duel fuel tank system work, auto switch over or is there s hidden switch somewhere? Funny my dealer doesn’t know and the ford dealer says it could be either way.

WTH?

Both tanks seem to feed into this valve...

There should be a switch on the dashboard lower right near glove box.Should have front rear. They recommend not to switch while moving better to do while parked.I would send a pic but not near rv.

The Chassis F550 is a 2017, but the 35SD is a 2018

Any super C's have dash cams, or thinking about installing?

Does your coach have any kind of video system now? If you have a system and don’t like it I have several suggestions for improvements like I made on our coach.

Super D, the chateau came with the rear cam connected to the dash radio.
So where lookin for a unit that can record front and back.
Been researching Blackvue, are you familiar? They have a truck model.
Big $ though, but most of the time you get what you pay for.
Thanks
Edk

https://www.rearviewsafety.com/ This company has cameras and monitors compatible with the 5 pin plugs Thor uses. I kept the Thor cameras and bought a 9” quad view monitor to mount on the dash. Monitor comes with wiring harness for power and cameras. Thor uses a video switch box, silver and about the size of a deck of cards. Remove camera cables and splice in to switch box harness for power. I didn’t hook up turn signal trigger wires because the quad view monitor allows you to see all the cameras at the same time, or you can change views to whatever you prefer. The monitor comes in 7”, 9”, or 10”. Took me less than 30 min to hookup everything. If you don’t want to drill holes you can get a Ram suction base and mounting disc for the dash. Love the big screen and ability to change views.

Same company carries the dash cams im looking at , the Blackvue models.
It doesn't appear the system you have , doesn't do any recording.
My main interest in the dash cam is to record any mishaps that may take place when we're underway. But thanks for info on coax 5 pin set up, may be able to split my Thor rear cam to the Blackvue and the existing dash radio/monitor. Save on purchasing a new rear weatherproof cam. Or maybe better let swap out the Thor rear cam to a better Blackvue cam.
Still more research to do.
Thanks
Edk

They have recording monitors, just a little more expensive. For dash cam I bought a Yi from Amazon. Yi had great overall reviews and was relatively inexpensive. Had the Yi for over a year now and it works great! The Yi app lets you download directly from the camera to a smartphone or tablet. Very happy with the performance and clarity. Go to YouTube and Dashcam Central for some really good reviews of many camera models.

Happy hunting!!!

Found out that both tanks feed fuel at the same time, not sure I like this... I guess as long as I fill them up before they run out should be fine. BTW first trip we got 9.6 MPG.
