THOR #3510
[QUOTE=TyCreek;73745] A happy owner thread and I haven't posted?

LoL ...

We're very happy with our Thor.

Ty...we, like you, have had no issues with our Axis...guess ours was built on the correct day of the week !! (we did have a well documented issue after our purchase..however, the problem was due to a dealer problem, not a Thor problem) …
We still love our Axis .. 3 yrs in January !! (and still thinking about downsizing due to our age issues) !

K

So far happy with our 2018 Hurricane 35M. Minor issues handled by the dealer. Runs and climbs great towing our Jeep Liberty

We are very happy with our new Miramar class A. This is our first Thor product. We have had a few different brands of RV's and Trailers, 5th wheels and motorhomes. Each type has its good and bad depending on what you are looking for. Every new RV has some issues that are usually easily taken care of.
Good luck

We are into our fourth year (purchased May 2015) and are quite happy with our 2016 Vegas 24.1.

The over the years some bumps with several items needing repaired/replaced and done - eventually - under warranty: house batteries, transmission cable needed re-routing, outside furnace cover and furnace itself, inside pillar covers, House AC unit, Vehicle AC unit wiring, water pump, outside TV, outside shower, to name a few. With time and effort Thor (and our extended warranty) worked with us on these problems.

Over the years this Forum has provided outstanding insight, modifications and information (tip of the hat to Ed's Owners Manual)...even some friendships.

Has the adventure been perfect - NO, but it has been fun, educational and definitely worth continuing.

We bought our Windsport 29M new in January and put 8500 miles on it so far. We love our coach. Minor problems and my DH loves to fix things. It's winterized now and we can't wait to go out in it again. He added the sway bar and steering stabilizer himself right away and I love driving it too.

We love our Thor four winds sf 35 class C. Downsized from a 40 American Eagle that I had driven 136,000 miles. It was time for a smaller unit and I just love the Ford power stroke diesel and the way it handles.

I think you have to find a balance between what is an issue of significance and what is an annoyance. Like others on the Forum, we have issues with our coach (2018, bought with 8449 miles on it) but as I can fix most of these issues, I don't go to the service center for every issue. I've had RVs off and on for 30 plus years, but this is our first coach.
So, while we all complain and quality should be a whole lot better for what we spend on these units, there will always be things that are wrong.
We went with the 36.1 Palazzo based on the floor plan that 1/2 bath made the difference for us as grandparents!
Am I a happy Thor owner, yes indeed! Do I think the selling dealer could have prepped the unit better and made sure everything was good, YES indeed, but like others, we have what we have and even with the issues, I love the Palazzo DSL, we moved up from our fifth wheel.
Million dollar coaches have issues as well, I think it's the nature of the industry - does not make it any better, but just know that as we push back on the OEMs, they will have to get better.

Love our 2018 Palazzo 33.2
A few QA issues that were addressed before delivery, and a couple of warranty things (turbo controller, PCM update, generator flywheel bolts), but every place provided quick, friendly and thorough service and we always look forward to the next trip, the drive and the comfort!
