Golf Club storage Windsport 29M? thoughts?

My husband and I are still looking for the "right" motorhome for us--the two of us with 2 big dogs. We are narrowing it down to the Windsport 29M, but the one thing I can't figure out is where will we put our golf clubs? We would prefer indoor storage--the bunkhouse units could be perfect for that, but they seem a little large for us-we prefer the size of the 29M--does the bed lift up in the 29M? Would there be room for 2 sets of clubs in there? If not, have any of you created any "custom" solutions for this? I'm assuming that at least SOME RVers are also golfers! Any ideas would be helpful--we hate to buy a bigger unit just to have good storage for our clubs (we are not thrilled with keeping them in outside storage unless there is a way to do it securely) thanks!

I would think they would fit under the bed laying down but I'm not a golfer.

On my coach there is unused space under the rear dinette seat is free except for the seat belt anchors and one electrical cable. 29M and 31S use the same 70" dream dinette. I keep the small 120 volt air compressor there along with the extra blankets and sheets for the front bunk which we only use when the grand-kids travel with us.

Bed space for golf clubs?

My wife and I are also considering the 29M, so I look forward to hearing from owners. We have used a Montana 5th wheel for 10 years and the under bed storage on it was not suitable for my golf clubs. The space might have been big enough except for the crosswise rails that were attached under the platform to add strength. I found a place beside our dresser and secured my clubs there in an upright position. Not ideal, but it worked on that unit.

I am not a golfer but do own and love our 29M! There is a HUGE space under the bed which could probably hold at least 4 sets of golf clubs. Unless you take a lot of clothes the closet is huge and could also hold more than one set of clubs, we don't use even half of our closet space. So, yes, there is plenty of room for your clubs!!!

RedRambler, I don't know where you live in Texas but MSHRV in Alvarado is a Great dealership to do business with! There are many posts on this forum about purchases from MSHRV and I have yet to read a negative post, really nice people there!!! We bought our coach there and couldn't have been happier with their customer service. Just a suggestion.

I assume you tow a car? That's where I leave my clubs in the trunk of the car. You need to put them in the trunk to go golfing anyway.

On the 29M there is a water tank under the front dinette seat and a water pump under the rear seat. I put a divider under the rear seat to give me storage space but it doesn't allow for much.
