Thor Challenger on Scorpion last night

They used a Challenger as part of the "plot" on the show Scorpion last night:
Scorpion Video - Crossroads - CBS.com

If you want to see the coach used skip to about the 25 minute mark. You'll still have to sit through 6+ mandatory commercials. You'll be rewarded with some wild driving of a motorhome including some completely implausible plot points (like remote driving of the motorhome, or stopping it in like 10 feet, riding skateboards underneath, or even that there is a control unit with a hard drive under the chassis!! LOL).

My husband and I got a kick out of the show, especially the part with the Challenger. I love the way they were filming the inside scene and they were going down the road with the slide open......it was hilarious! The skateboard was a little far fetched also! LOL

Kinda funny that I watched that episode and I immediately recognized the Thor Challenger! I was actually sitting in my coach as I watched the show.

What made me laugh was that they thought it would be a good getaway vehicle!! I never realized that the Thor laminated wall construction is bulletproof, (that's really good information to know). They also inserted the sounds of air brakes and a diesel engine.

Wouldn't have done to use a diesel pusher, all those bullets would have penetrated the radiator!

I did notice that the FX guys had sparks from bullet impact hitting down by the tires, but nobody scored. The idea of a computer down under the chassis was preposterous, of course, never mind a setup for remote control. Sigh. Suspend belief.
