Thor Freedom Traveler thru CW

I don't have a lot to add to this, but saw this for the first time on the road this weekend- looks like CW has gotten into the A class branded Freedom line...

A little mixing and matching from Thor's class A/C lineup:

FT A30 = ACE 29.3
FT A27 = Chateu 28E in a Class-A (no other comparable class A on Thor's website)
Interesting

I like that A27 floorplan for a few reasons:
  • Not too long (28')
  • Nothing critical in the slides (no sink, stove, etc.--just electrical)
  • The dinette/jackknife sofa in the slide is pretty much a standard arrangement you'll find everywhere in RV's (TT's and 5er's too)--its what our 5er had in it
  • Bathroom on the driver's side--I bet the black tank is in the far left rear (no drain going across the coach)

I'm a little bit confused...
(Actually; this is an improvement to my normal situation!)
I was under the impression that the Freedom Series was more a a re-badging of existing models, with a bit of decontenting thrown in for good measure.
Can we find out what the chassis is that's underneath all of that bodywork?

Yes, click on specs:
https://www.freedom-motorhomes.com/f...raveler/specs/

They are both Ford F-53 chassis.

I DID finally find that button...
I guess I was unaware that they could run the same chassis under two so different-looking rigs.
