I would, They help handling also. Less sway on highways

No big deal.
NO BIG DEAL!!!!! The weight distribution in a 5 ton vehicle travelling down the highway at 65 MPH is a BIG DEAL!!!!! This will affect handling and more importantly braking. NO BIG DEAL!?!?!?!?!?

I have the leaning problem and agree. By lifting that sagging side will distribute the weight differently to the front of vehicle thus better handling and braking. Besides that, looks like hell from the rear and if sold in the future, more than likely, could effect sale.

When weight distribution is not symmetrical, it will indeed cause sagging on one side due to springs compressing more. However, lifting sagging side back up won't affect weight distribution appreciably. It may "look" balanced, but the heavy side will remain heavier because the center of gravity isn't affected hardly at all.

I agree... The weight will still be in the same places: you can only address the question of how the suspension is set up to deal with it.

Sure look's a lot better than a rig sagging on one side that is so evident looking at from rear instead of it looking like it just came out of the Beverly Hillbillies.

True the fix will be cosmetic only, if no weight is re-distributed. My question is, I always believed RV manufactures produced units with floorplans that distributed weight as evenly as possible, so the chassis would be level unloaded. Has anyone gone after Thor, or at least sought an explanation as to why they are producing units that are delivered in an 'out of balance' condition?

They put stuff where they can make it fit... for the least cost possible!

When I did corner weights on my coach the difference was only about 650 pounds that caused the lean. I've driven about 8,000 miles now with the lean in all sorts of conditions and I have no complaints about handling. And as Laco points out NO fix short of re engineering the floor plan will actually change the weight distribution. With springs and spacers you are only jacking the body up on one side not changing the actual weight imbalance on the chassis. For me, based on actual experience and on a truck chassis expert's opinion, it's no big deal. Your results may vary.

Interestingly the 2016 26HE has a floor plan identical to the 2017 EXCEPT the bedroom slide is on the curbside instead of the street side (i.e. The bed room and bathroom are reversed). I've wondered why they changed it.

You've got that right. Of course, since the Wife thinks She's quite the queen, maybe I should make her seat out of solid gold.

Our 2004 Class C Gulf Stream leaned to the driver's side noticeably. Kept it 4 years and it still leaned when we traded it on the Axis. Truck alignment and suspension shop said they could block it up but first asked, "Does it bother you?"

Hmmm. No.
A friend of mine who had been RVing for many years told me that lots of them lean, some from day one off the assembly line. It quit bothering my wife after a while.

Leaning Freedom Elite 24FE on Sprinter Chassis

We bought a new 2018 Freedom Elite 24FE on a Mercedes Sprinter chassis three weeks ago and have been outfitting it for trip to south Florida. With 36" slide out (that has bed, closet, dinette and storage underneath) there is a lean but not so much with slide closed. Talked with Camping World and they suggested when getting to camp site to have left tires park on wood blocks. We always park on wood blocks at campground anyway unless on cement so will just add a couple more to raise left side. While we are loading it, I also put a camping jack stand (kind that has a swivel to raise it) under a metal support just back of the driver's door and that helped slightly.

Bringing this post back from the dead so I don’t have to start a new one. I have a 2022 Chateau 27R that suffers the same fate. Has anyone thought of just putting helper Springs on the left side only?

I think that might cause handling problems. I suggest you find a shop that works on suspensions for medium trucks. They should be able to correct the issues.

A quick stop at any reputable suspension shop can straighten that out pretty quickly Back in my truck and camper days, loaded a new to me camper and had them adjust the springs to lean a 1/4 to offset the roads drainage angle and the added weight. Very reasonable.
