Thor Vegas Awning Issue

The plastic tubing that helps hold the awning in place on our Vegas 24.1 has somehow managed to work itself out of it's groove. Pushing it back in only worked until it appeared to run into the awning seam at the other end.

Has anyone experienced this problem or has any tips on fixing it?

I had the same thing happen on a travel trailer......tried to push back in etc.....only for it to work it's way back out. I cut the extra off after pushing in as far as it would go, then took a self tapping screw and ran that into the track at the end to block the track opening.

That sounds like a good idea. It seems to mostly be holding the awning in place anyway.

Thanks!!
