Thor Vegas drivers side seat

I have a Vegas 24.1, and, as you may know, the coach seats turn toward the interior. There is no problem with the passenger seat, but the driver’s side there is less mobility. Once the chair pivots toward the cabin, it can not turn toward the small table that is set up between the seats. The stirring wheel is in the way. Has anyone solved this problem. I hate having a coffee or working on my laptop sitting side saddle.

It can be done, but only useful when slide is fully extended, otherwise there’s no leg&foot room

Check out this link, at the final thread is a video

The driver’s seat must be extended to its max from the dash and the armrest turned upward. It will then clear the steering wheel when pivoted toward the center.

Personally, i’ve only rotated it once
The position doesn’t work for me
Too uncomfortable because the backrest cannot be reclined enough for me & difficult to use the table between the seats in this fully rotated position

One last comment...
Several on this Forum have modified the driver’s seat by installing a new shorter base which lowers it by 3-4”. Some feel that the OEM seat sits too high

In doing this seat mod, the seat can now be simply rotated without the gymnastics

Suggest that you watch the video

The driver seat can only be fully rotated when the left armrest is completely down and the back rest is pushed all the way forward against the seat bottom

Then the armrest slides underneath the steering wheel

The only other way to rotate seat is to remove the left armrest completely (left armrest straight up, push armrest IN towards seat back very HARD, rotate arm rest back, pull armrest out of socket)

I have no problems rotating my driver side chair to the center in the manner I described earlier.

Problem still there

Thanks to all for your responses. I was always able to rotate the chair to face the back, but the problem is turning it just 90 degrees to face the small table set between the cabin seats. The stirring wheel blocks it, so I am only able to face the sink area and as far as needed to the right, toward the couch.

I guess I’m confused as to what you are trying to accomplish

If you want to rotate seat so it faces to the rear of the coach, look at the link I posted.
It’s self explanatory

If you are trying to turn to the right so it faces the cocktail table, move seat forward and rotate to the right until the left arm rest (in the up position) hits the steering wheel

Those are your only options

Chair disappointment

So, you can’t have it both ways? That is, both facing small table and still being able to face the back. Disappointing!
