True Induction Stovetop 2017 Aria 3601

I am trying to use the smaller burner on the stove but when I turn on the power it just shuts off. Any help on this?

Is your pan inductive? Copper or aluminum will not work. Must be magnetic to trigger the heat.

A good way to shop for pans for these cooktops is to bring a magnet with you to the stores and use it to see if it sticks to the bottom of the pan. If it does, you are good to go. It is surprisingly difficult to weed out pans for these cooktops but this little trick works 100%

Agreed: Induction stoves will automatically shut off if they don't sense the proper pan on there.

The magnet trick is a good way to tell.

Good quality pans and skillets are all coded on the bottom for the types they are compatible with

Only the cheap ones fail to have the stamps and you really don't want them

True for new, but magnet is great way to test older cookware for compatibility.
Cast Iron pots/pans work great on induction - not one of mine is new enough to have any induction markings.

The cookware that has the alloy heat sink on the bottom will work the best on all induction cook tops or home stoves

Using the magnet will certainly keep you from having something in the skillet and then not being able to use it

And we just found out if the dryer/washer are on you cannot use the cook top. Won't turn on at all.

You can change the load management around if you want it differently

The min cookware size that works on that induction cooktop is 4 1/2 inches along with being induction useable.
