We did the RV/MH Hall of Fame today...what an impressive collection they have. We left there and did the 3PM factory tour. Again, I was very impressed at how these things are put together. I know a few have real problems but it has to be a very few. A couple of owners I met at the Service Center were obviously the type no one can make them happy. The checks and balances I witnessed was second to none. The tour guide is taking us on a "private tour" of Plant 450 tomorrow...where the Super C's are made. This Plant is not normally available for tours. They called and said all parts were in house and we should be outta here by Thursday AM...probably sooner. We my have the opportunity to leave Wednesday evening. One thing that I learned was that the entire floor, walls and ceiling are insulated with block foam and all water lines and heater hoses are above the floor level, within the insulated body. It would take a lot to freeze one of these up if you were traveling with the furnace running. Another thing...unlike the previous TT we had whereby the "ducted A/C vent system" in the ceiling was Styrofoam, Thor actually runs this air through a closed aluminum box channel which is insulated within the block foam.
