typical size for most of the normal canisters is #8, but take yours out and take it to the store with you, or measure it and make sure you're ordering the right size - it's a pretty common size.

We haven't the slightest idea of what coach you have or why the advice above won't work.

I'll suggest you go to the nearest rv place or Walmart with your current filter in hand.
If you haven't a filter, I suggest you go to the same places and look at all the filters which screw onto a garden hose.
