I hate to say it but I think they will phase out the Axis / Vegas lineup and offer more B and B + models in the near future.

Personally I think the Axis / Vegas fills a spot that is not currently filled (Small A class with cool front end/windshield).

Regarding the cool front end with large windshield that is often mentioned as a real plus, Thor lists the Axis/Vegas at 87 inches wide at front, which also happens to be the width of the smaller Hymer Class As.

For comparison, most newer vans used for campers are around 80 inches wide, and larger motorhomes 99 to 101 inches wide. I completely agree that a Class A in the +/- 90-inch width range fills a middle ground that is only available in some Class Cs at present (practically all of those on Sprinter, Transit, or ProMaster chassis). The popular Ford E-Series chassis isn’t represented well in that narrower ~ 90-inch Class C group.

Anyway, the difference in size between a narrow van and a wide-body Class A feels so huge that there should be room for smaller Class As like the Axis (for those that don’t like Class Cs).

Yep, We looked at Class C's for two years before we saw the Axis sitting next to one. It only took one look and we were both hooked on the Axis. Looks, function, Room (25.4 has massive 70 cu storage), looked more upscale and all for about the same price or a little more than a C.

My wife hated the cockpits on the C's (to small and hard to get in and out of the seat in order to go to toliet or Frig. etc).
