Siesta Sprinter 24SV

Bought our new 2017 Siesta Sprinter 24SV last week and drove from Florida to Arkansas. Really love the floor plan! It works well for the two of us. We like the rear bath with the twin beds (converts to king). When traveling, you can stop and use the kitchen, bath, or even take a nap without opening the slide. We used the beds with table for a dining area. For a small motorhome, it has all the extras we need and does not feel cramped. Driving is a pleasure. Easy to maneuver and is quite comfortable. You do feel the crosswinds at times, but it isn't bad. Overall, we really like it!

Negatives: (warranty work required) Some hardware items are of very poor quality. The ladder screws are totally rusted and need replacing!

Air leaks around door. Door seems warped and does not fit tightly.

There is no drain hole/plug in the compartment for water system. Filled up with rain one night we camped. The door has to be open to have city water hose connected.

Electronics - not the best. Also, we have a lot of static on tv when the air conditioner turns on.

Congratulations and welcome.

That is interesting..the same layout as the Axis/Vegas 25.5 model.

Very nice; and congratulations on your new purchase.

I agree that while Thor uses some of the same floorplans as on the Axis/Vegas, it's nice that they offer scaled-down-in-size options for those who want greater maneuverability, ease of parking, fuel economy, etc...

Going smaller seems to be a continuing trend as supported by February data.

My 2016 24 ST also had no opening in the water connection compartment. I noticed on the PDI and had the dealer put a hatch in the bottom of the compartment (Thor covered it). Thor added that to later 2016 models according to my dealer. Should be covered under warranty.

For the TV check all the coax connections are tight, particularly those on the back of the amplifier. ( If you take them off don't let them slide back into the wall..Don't ask)
