You're leaving out the all important "Bug Smash Factor". Changing the aerodynamics could reduce the billions of bugs I destroy driving across Texas in the summer

Wondered about Wonderbread

I contemplated painting the rig to look like a loaf of Wonderbread.

AS a former owner of a Thor Hurricane I can say I grew to hate
that big 8 foot wide 5 foot high windshield.
In 3 years of ownership I replaced two windshields.
The first one due to rock chips that grew into a crack half way
up the windshield.
Cost...$4000.00 minus my $500.00 deductible. The second one cracked while in winter storage.
So another $4000.00 claim to insurance company. The insurance company was growing to hate me.

We sold it after 3 years and 14K miles and it only cost me $10,000.00 each year in depreciation. :-(

Before the MH I had always owned travel trailers.
We bought another diesel truck and a 2019 Keystone Cougar 30 RLS 5th wheel and are very happy with having
no windows on the front of it..

Thats a bummer.

But how do you drive if you dont have a windshield on front of the truck. LOL. I know .... no windshield on the front of the Keystone.

The truck winshield is not as big of a target as the MH was. Plus the rake might allow more stuff to bound off insead of one dead inpact.
