Wind Sensor on owner awing

I have a 2017 Miramar 35.2. Does anyone know if the power awning on the main slide has a wind sensor that will automatically retract the awning in strong winds? Also, if it does, is there anyway to disable it?

Having experienced it first hand, there is a wind sensor on the awning.

Wind Sensor on owner awing

I have a 35.2 and I am unaware of a wind sensor. I usually bring it in whenever I feel uncomfortable of the wind situation. It would be nice to know for sure.

The carefree awnings with a wind sensor have 2 switches, If the awning only has an in and out switch it does not have a wind sensor.

I have an unmarked switch or two up over the door I am not sure what they do. I will keep playing with them to try to figure it out.
Also, on my dash is a switch mark "door light". I can figure that one out either. I am thinking if I had a drivers side door it may work a light over it.

My carefree awning has a in out switch and a wind sensor. When extended I used my wash brush and pushed up on the reel,,,,, awning retracted!

Carefree of Colorado Latitude patio awnings do not have a wind sensor like the Dometics, but have a movement sensor. This can be easily checked by striking the end of the awning sharply twice in rapid succession when the awning is fully extended. Most people who have tried to wash the awning with a scrub brush have experience the auto retract feature. Turing the ignition on the coach will lock the awning into position, as the awning's control circuity uses the auto retract entry step feature to remove power from the awning circuitry with the ignition on.
