Navicula, Congratulations on you new coach!!! The 29M is a super popular coach right now because of the fantastic design and features. The 29M is hard to find, the dealer gets one and it's gone in no time at all! We were lucky and just happened to go to the dealer right after our coach arrived, hadn't been detailed or advertised yet.
Our coach has all the options, dual AC, power drivers seat, HD paint, etc. With the heat in Texas you need the dual AC units!!!
I hope you enjoy your new coach as much as we do! We wish you many happy, safe, and enjoyable miles!!!

29M Slide
Has anyone had a problem with the large slide? My last camping trip I went to retract the slide and it was dead; no power. I was fortunate enough to find a reset switch on the synchronizer. When my slide does work, the front comes in faster than the rear and jams. I have to extend it a few inches, then it retracts all the way. I suspect my loss of power was due to an over-amp problem. Anyone else had this problem? Very scary when no one around to help out.

Haven't had that problem. Check the connections on your controller first. When running the slide in or out make sure you hold the switch a few seconds after the slide stops, the controller counts motor revolutions to stay in synch. Never stop the slide part-way and reverse direction. Try the full in and out, if that doesn't work I would either call the dealer or Thor.

We have our 29M
Happy Holidays fellow RVers!!! Wanted to let you know that Angie and I are the proud owners of the 2017 Thor Windsport 29M. Her name is "Windy" (we live in west Texas and thought that name is very appropriate) and has the 50 Amp options with the 2 A/Cs, power driver's seat, partial paint, etc., etc. We bought "Windy" from Motor Home Specialist in Alvarado, TX. I have already completed several mods to include installing a 50 Amp EMS and a TPMS system. More mods will follow soon. We love the layout of the RV and she rides pretty good. We are very happy campers! Good luck and have fun!
Cheers!
Dino and Angie

Angie and Dino enjoy your new mh. I have said this before in other posts. I wanted a bigger mh 34'+ but after seeing the 29m it was a quick decision in buying it.
Have fun and post your trips.

Prior to this Vegas 25.3, we owned a 37' Pace Arrow. While the extra room was nice, it was both costly and cumbersome to travel in with just two people. The smaller Vegas is much better suited to our needs, and cost much less to operate. We use ours for traveling and touring more so than extended camping, so drivability and maneuverability are of prime importance, rather than space.

Halfprice, after we sold our 4 slide Tuscany do to storage problems we were really having a hard time deciding on a new coach, hard to give up all that room. We spent quite a bit of time at MHSRV looking at smaller coaches, their selection was huge. We started down the line and looked at Vegas, Axis, Ace, and finally Windsport. When we stepped inside the 29M we knew we had found our coach, small enough for our storage spot and big enough for comfort. Needless to say we are very happy with our choice!!!

Has anyone driven their coach at night? On our first trip I had to do some night driving and found the headlights less than adequate!!! I haven't had time time adjust the lights yet but saw there are adjustment screws on the back. Low beam is worthless and has an odd pattern on the road, high beam was just barely ok. If adjustments don't work I may put higher wattage bulbs in. I certainly recommend checking your lights BEFORE you have to use them!

Just thought of something else, third brake light leaking. Every time it rains I get water in the third brake light housing. The light seemed to be leaking between the lens and the gasket behind it. After the housing dried out I ran a small bead of clear silicone along the top and down the sides as far as I could go. After a couple of more rains that seems to have stopped the problem. I haven't noticed water in any of the other lights.

I had to drive at night while taking my new Vegas home from the dealership. I found the low-beam function to be barely adequate, but the high-beams were wonderful....I could see better than just about anything else I had driven. Aiming the low-beams is high on my to-do list for this unit.

I didn't notice a problem with mine when driving at night. Only drove at night one time. Actually it was early morning 4am ish. Early start for a 500 mile drive. I'll check it again to make sure they are good. I'm taking it in for a little warranty work in a couple of weeks. If its off I'll have them adjust it.

TMC Concierge Service
This question is for all TMC MH owners...How long did it take until you heard from the TMC Concierge customer service representative after you purchased your RV? We have had our RV since November 22nd, 2016 and have not heard from them at this time.
Dino
