Yo' Axis/Vegas Owners--I Have Questions

I need info about the Axis/Vegas. First, what is the distance between the lowest point under the RV and the street? If someone can measure the propane exhaust, any pipe, what is the lowest point near or behind the rear wheels, and tell me where and what it is, I would appreciate it. I'd even offer a virtual coffee, your favorite beverage or a Christmas greeting card for your entire family. If you do it quickly I'll include last week's lottery ticket.

Also, will the charger allow 24/7 hookup and not fry the batteries?

I'm considering trading for and Axis/Vegas.

Thanks,

Phil

Not quick by any means - just saw this.

The lowest point on the coach is the trim under the entry door. Don't have a measurement, but it's probably about 9 inches or so. Lowest point behind the rear axle is the generator exhaust pipe. Probably about the same - 9 to maybe 12 inches.

The Axis rides low! There isn't the normal amount of room to work under the coach.

The charger *should* let you leave it plugged in. The stock converter is not well liked though, and I've decided not to trust it. I'll probably replace it with a Progressive Dynamics unit that can be left plugged in.

Thanks

Thanks, Randy.

I picked mine up Wednesday and we are on our way to Myrtle Beach right now. It is too low to fit into our driveway and it is a problem that I will have to address.

There is a thread on Axis/Vegas mods. Please post your activities there. I would line to do the same thing you are doing and will watch your posts to see how you did it. Let us know how it comes out.

Phil.
