Thor Freedom Elite 2016 Inverter

I'm a newbie. If the RV not plugged in and the generator is off. can I just plug something in the ac outlet and work off the inverter? Do I need to throw a switch or is it automatic? Thanks

Not familiar with your particular rv, but as a general rule, NO, your inverter is probably only supplying power to a couple outlets such as the residential fridge if you have one. If you don't have a residential fridge odds are you don't have an inverter, but a converter that DOES NOT power any ac outlets, but does charge batteries & converts ac power to 12 volt dc.

On your FE, the inverter powers the outside refer and TV's when no other power source is available. That's about it.

Our version of the Thor Freedom Elite 2016 if you are not plugged in to exterior electricity source or are not running the generator it does not allow 110 electric outlets to have power. The 12 volt things will run off the batteries like the coach lights, water pump, the bathroom fan, exterior lighting, and awning. At least that is how ours is set up.

Our 31W has outlets for the fridge, front and rear TV and inside the cabinet for the bluray that are powered by the inverter.
