Assuming Schwintek system - the manual process is to unplug power from the controller - and PUSH... Then plug back in once retracted...
Took 3-4 of us to push in our bedroom slide... and 7 of us couldn't budge the living room slide - the documentation did say it might be difficult...

So fixing the power issue might be simpler...
You should be able to read 12 volt power at the main connector on the controller... There are separate pins to 'extend' and 'retract' that receive 12v only when the switch is depressed.

My last problem - I had 12v to the controller - but not to the 'retract' pin... A simple jumper from a nearby light provided the 12v.. Also discovered the ext/ret was backwards on that slide... I had to power the 'extend' pin for the slide to retract...

Still haven't figured out why I lost power - made a more permanent jumper until I get back to it... My 2014 does NOT have the rapid camp module.

I'm guessing you resolved it by now, but I had a slide issue recently. It was not coming in straight.

In the manual, it shows how to reset the controller. Not sure if that was what I needed to do, but I did that and it worked! I also noticed that it said the slide can be pushed in by disconnecting the power to the motors at the controller and getting a few people to push the wall back in. Then reconnect the motors as they will energize and hold the wall in place until it can be serviced.

This si for the 3-Trak system on ours. Check your manual though.
