Yes. We spent 2 weekends at the beach in Florida last month and it was miserable
C'mon...
Two weekends at the Beach in Florida??? That's sounds like an "excellent case of misery"!
Why not just get a decent fan, and keep the air moving around? Wouldn't that help?

in our 25.2 vegas has (15,000)ac in front and I added a (13,500) air conditioner in the bedroom and tinted windows including windshield upper and lower and extra vent in the air conditioner made all the difference keeps everything cool inside and cools down a lot faster.
We haven't had time to do much about our cooling issue as our RV has been with the dealer. However, we got it back a few days ago and immediately got some Reflectix from Lowes and covered the windshield inside. Under the exact same outside temps and location as before, we are 4 degrees cooler inside with just that one change. Big enough difference to go from unbearable to tolerable. If you're having trouble keeping your RV cool I highly recommend you try Reflectix on the windshield for a quick, easy, and cheap initial fix.
Hudson and SuperD you've both posted pics and said you added a round vent to your AC units. I want to do that mod to my two 13.5 units on our Challenger.
So, how did you do it? I assume the plastic cover comes off and you cut holes, but would really appreciate any instructions you'd be willing to provide. I'm not all that handy, or creative but can generally follow instructions!

Buy the vent from Amazon
Remove the AC cover. I think there were 4 or 6 screws holding it on Trace the hole pattern on the cover and use a jigsaw or some other tool to cut the hole in the cover. I used 4 self tapping screws to secure the vent. Then reattach the cover

Thanks! Same one I found earlier. I just ordered two (one for each AC unit).

l want to thank SuperD for his private massages to help with me to install my vent in my ac, and it is was well worth the trouble, the hardest for me was marking where to cut the hole.
Would this mod be considered an intake of air or exhaust ?
Because those two louvered vents nest to it blow out some good air.
Exhausting cold air thru the new vent. The return air has the filters, and a barrier that fell down on my 13.5 unit, separates the return air from the cold air. I added 2 small aluminum angles to hold the barrier in place.
