drip rail or gutter
I have seen a stick on gutter that can be put on under the rail on top of the Vegas. My A.C. drips down the sides and causes streaks on the windows and body. You just peel off the backing and apply pressure to it below the rail on top , it allows the water from your A.C. to run into it. Have any of you heard of this ??

Yes I put it on our MH. Very hard to put on straight and level 40 feet long. At only 3/8" tall, the A/C water now goes to the low points, fills up and now drips down in another place. This size might be good around doors and windows. If any one does this, spend the extra money and pay for the 1/2" to 3/4" stuff might be a lot better and don't forget to pay the end spouts.

I heard gutters help eliminate black streaks, is that true?

I placed them on one side for same reason and it worked great!
Still get black streaks but it now in one spot at the end of the gutter - much easier to clean one area!

do a search for EZE RV Gutter
I ordered a short length of it to install over my tailights, thinking it might be the suspenders to the belt of caulking. Haven't installed it yet.
I'd like to install it along the roof edge as intended, but I can't figure out how to do it the way my slide awnings are attached.

Hi Don and Elke,
Can you send pics to show exactly where you mounted a portion of the gutter? I ordered the eze gutter but hesitate on installing as once it is installed there is no turning back, but I hate the streaks. Also I would like to see and know what downspouts you ordered as I ordered those as well but hard to find a good fit.
Thanks...

Would love to show you a few pictures but sorry right now not with MH and wont be for a few days. But I installed mine right on the top edge of the trim rail where the roof meets the wall, it is black and blends in so well you don't even know that its there. The downspouts sticks out about an inch on each side facing away from the center of MH. We found a old shipping container (sealand van or conex https://onsitestorage.com/?kw=conex%...ad=31857851712 ) parked right next to it and walked around on top of it to do the install. A ladder would of been just to hard.

Too bad. i too would love to see pictures of what you did. I'm having a hard time picturing it... under the awning but at the top edge of the trim....
On mine, there basically is no room at all between the awning attach point and the roof. I thought I would have had a photo, but can't find one now....
Oh, side note comment.... if you hate black streaks @rving2015, the real fix as I understand it, is to keep your roof clean

Hi Dan and Elle,
Hopefully when you get your mh back you can take a couple of close up shots. I have the room to install no problem. It's more on if you installed above the awning rail or below...assuming above, the downspouts you used since all I looked at and then ordered where too wide and lastly if you screwed into the side of mh for the downspouts? Maybe we can talk outside of the forum for specifics so we can have a quick chat? Here is my email rchavez@apr.com so we can then exchange phone number
Thanks...

Wonder if this would work better then a drip cap over the bedroom windows?

You really cant tell but check theses out. This is right under the awning, you can see where the black is not painted silver, that's the drip rail.

Gutters
I have a good friend that is experienced in putting the gutters on numerous coaches. He applied the trim lok to my 27 ft ACE and after about 4 weeks I found most of it laying on the ground to the side of my coach. Al of the gutters that I put around the windows were off and about 1/3 of the gutters on the passenger side was hanging down. I know that when we applied ot we used alcohol and cleaned the area well and did it on a warm day as per the directions. Also part of the sticky back went against my paint and now I will have to figure some way to get that off. I have a 30,000 dollar custom paint job from One Extreme and don't want to ruin it. I am thinking that the heat that we have had here in So Cal might have caused the problem, but the mfg should allow for this heat since coaches are usually out in the weather. If you have any ideas of how to take the stick backing off the paint I would love to hear about it.

I installed this Trim-Lok gutter in July.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I had no problem installing it straight . I prepped the surface as per directions with water/alcohol. Still there with no problems in this Florida heat.
