Vegas 25.2 Sirus

The dash radio indicates it is Sirus ready. From what I understand we just need to get a Sirus receiver and install. We are not technically inclined so I was wondering if anyone has done this and how they installed the receiver. The current radio as it is "sucks" as you have to keep finding stations as you travel Thank you

Which radio do you have? The Jensen or the Axxera?

If the Jensen you have has bluetooth you can always install the SiriusXM app and stream the channels (if you already have a SXM subscription, and if you have cell signal available where you travel).

I believe the SXM receiver you have to plug in is kind of hard to find (may have to get it from Jensen).

Jensen does have a PDF that describes what "Sirius Ready" means:

Thank you for the information. I will look into the app. We don't always have cell service when we travel. Our Jeep GC always got excellent Sirus radio receiption when we traveled and where ever we camped so we were hoping if we got Sirus in our RV we would get the same reception. We will check out what Jensen says.

If your Jensen has an auxiliary port, you should be able to plug in a Sirius receiver. As others have done, I placed the magnetic antenna in the middle of the drop down bunk and ran the wire next to the drivers pillar to make the connection. It works well with our Axxera radio. Satellite is great when travelling.

Ok, after further research it appears what I need is the SiriusXM SXV300 Connect Vehicle Tuner that plugs in on the back side of the radio. This is what is suppose to be compatible with a Jensen Sirius XM ready radio, which our's is. I'm still not clear if I also need the Sirius antenna too or if it will work through the RV antenna.
