Adding a water pump switch in the wet compartment

Has anyone added a water pump switch in their wet compartment and can share how it was wired? Unfortunately, in 2015 Thor only put one water pump switch in the 37TB Challenger, above the door with all the other controls. Would have been nice to at least have a switch in the 1/2 bath and the outside wet compartment. Adding a switch in the wet compartment (where the pump is located) with a new 12 volt source seems could be a problem if the main switch is already on and then the added switch is also turned on. That would create (2) 12 volt sources into one pump. Seems a voltage flow restrictor would be needed?

No, it's the same 12 volt source. Just takes 2 different paths. There should be no issue except realizing turning off any one of those switches may not de-energize the pump,

Thor is stingy with those switches. Our last coach had one in the bathroom, the vanity, the kitchen as well as one in the wet bay. Like yours the Gemini has one on the panel in the entry.

It's also the same here in the Outlaw: one switch.

My 37TB has the switch inside only, BUT, that switch controls power to a relay under the bed that actually powers the pump. My pump quit mid trip and I had to jury rig another power source until I got home and could troubleshoot. I found a wire had pulled off the relay. Should be able to wire another power source to the relay. Might have to add a diode or two but that may not be an issue.
