additional seating

I would love to add a 3rd front facing seat in my Thor Axis 25.2. We travel with 3 adults and it gets boring to 3rd. person. Is there a kit? I can see how the 2 seats are installed but if I add 3rd in same line it would be crammed against the dog house. I am thinking an off-set mount to have it back a ways. Also I wonder about using right seat from a truck with split bench seating in place of right seat. When I worked out of a Grumman van the size of my MH, we used a temp jump set that pinned in a pipe style mount and it was DOT ok.

Fred,
Welcome to our campfire.
Keep in mind that the manufacturers have to comply with Federal safety standards for seating the occupants. It's just mot as simple as bolting in another seat.

Yep definitely not that easy but I did notice looking in the forward compartment that the two existing seats are merely bolted to the floor with a steel plate sandwiched on the underside of the floor so I'm wondering if any of the smart engineers lurking around here figured something out. The tough part is making it non-permanent, like the 3rd row seats in a Land Cruiser.

How you going to make it non-permanent when you have to drill holes in the floor?

They can always be unbolted, and then put the bolt back in place to fill in the hole.
