Antenna location and front cap

Hey campers,

I'm thinking of putting my WiFi repeater and cell phone booster near the front cap.

Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance for the feedback. Click image for larger version

It should boost your reception... you've just got to figure out some clean cable routing...

Trying to figure out if this would be a good location.

I think it will work well. If you mount them and run the wires into the cabin through the roof you can the route the wires across the interior over the bed. That area is always hidden, so hiding the wires is no problem, at least until the bed is lowered. Be sure to use plenty of lap sealant on the exterior at any point that you have pierced the roof membrane. Oh, and post pictures when you are done, I'll be interested to see your work.

I rarely see antennas mounted toward the front. When parked at a campground, the front of the motorhome often isn't as obstructed by trees. Seems like a logical place to get the best "reception".

I could over thinking this too much...
