Question anyone have a home made tray for driver side rear basment compartment?

I am looking to build a tray for the back storage area in an Axis 24.1 (2016 F450).
Cyril is in storage up here in Canada so I can only plan in theory mode. Any ideas are welcome!

Rick

Can you go to a dealership, and grab some measurements?

Thanks for the suggestion that is a good idea for measurements.

I am looking more for suggestions of what will work.
Bottom slides vs side slides... whole unit that gets installed etc.(slid in and fixed in place with the tray sliding out)
I have several draft ideas that will work. Just looking for some one with more experience than I have. Building it is no issue at all.

Not sure how you'd have a tray for the passenger side with the big well there. I supposed you could have the tray slide in far enough to leave clearance for the well. We keep our BBQ in the well there--fits perfectly.

The drivers side would be much more applicable for a tray. You could split it to two trays there: a short one on the front side of the hatch and a long one going into the cross storage.

Thanks I was only thinking of the drivers side. The idea of a split tray never occurred to me. The pass through is definitely hard to get at.
I could keep my repair kit on one side and camping essentials on the longer side.
We keep our BBQ in the well also.
