What kind of switch did you use?

I was thinking of relocating the switch, but the pull chain approach is so much easier.

Picked up the switch at Lowes. I'm sure Home Depot sells them too. Just drilled a hole beside the old switch and wired into in. The switch is actually for 110 but works fine for this. DW picked out the fancy chain.
