Before I dive under the dash and start doing pinouts, 2hat do we collectively know about the unused wiper switch?
I was about to move my miserable excuse for a wiper switch and cut it into the left side of the instrument bezel directly left of the tach, when I wondered what it might take to put it where it belongs.
Do we think it's just a missing harness?
If I can't use it for wipers, is the momentary push switch for the washer a momentary switch or does it activate an outside timer?
If it's momentary I can hook it to a latch circuit and use it for my bright light bar IF the wiring is inside the steering column and not deleted.
If it's just a switch, I can do the same without a latch circuit.

This is likely a project in futility. But I want the futile worn out of it before I cut a hole to move my Thor wiper switch...

A group grope/effort please

Agree, would be preferable if wipers/washer worked on the unused Ford turn signal switch, that we all have, but I suspect there must be a reason Thor installs their own switch. Maybe the wiper motor Thor uses is different and requires wiring or circuitry that the turn signal switch doesn't provide. Perhaps Thor Customer Care can answer this.

Not all of us have the wiper on the stalk. Most likely why Thor put the one on the dash. Our Axis has a "blank" turn signal stalk with no wiper controls on it.

Check your grounds? Or check to make sure something is not trying to ground out (like a power wire touching frame, battery post touching metal etc).

I came across something like this back in the 80's for for the life of me I dont remember what cause it. I think I had to add a ground wire to something that I added to the car?

Check your wires going to that sub fuse box you installed. Perhaps add extra ground to the frame?

Let us know what you figure out.
Thanks for the reply. Good thinking re: the grounds. It's the goofy-ist thing I've seen, but it will take a while to get back to this one...gotta go camping!

Replaced fron side running lights with larger version that includes turn signal as well.
Wiring was pretty simple.
Just ran a jumper from the front signal light.

Didn't like just have a running light on the left and right side of the Axis. So I replaced the front lights and wired in the turn signal with bigger led running and turn light.

It's on my list of mods to do.
I need to just pick out and light style and do it.
Thanks for the picture. I'll probably buy the same style you installed.

The 9 inch monitor shows all 4 cameras. So at night it will have a 360 degree picture of the outside. SECURITY
When driving turn signal makes it full screen.
And reverse full screen.
DEFAULT SCREEN IS ALL 4 CAMS.
The original equipment still works as it did from factory.

Ya the The tablet on the left is just for stationary look up time. Lol
The original equipment radio monitor is way to low to see when driving.
Dash speedometer is virtually invisible with out ducking. Look on windshield there is a heads up display for speed.

I don't touch

That's a very nicely compiled list.
Thanks.
I haven't the talent to make such a list but I'll have my list ready for publication in November.
The heater pad for the macerator is a good idea I'll adapt or maybe I'll use garden hose wrap.

The pad is connected to the existing heat pad wiring.
When there on it's on.
I did insulate and seal the compartment.
During last winter in ohio. The area stayed above freezing.

Installed this on the over door TV.
I had purchased one for the bedroom also, but it's unneeded.
Oddly, this mount comes with TWO of the wall mount part so you can undo a nut and move the TV easily to another location where you installed the second wall mount.
A thoughtful addition to the kit.
Heavy duty.

(I THINK the harbor freight TV mount is about 25% of this one's price.)

Just ran a jumper from the front signal light.
Added Triple LED sequel turn signal bar and new side lights with turn signal to rear lighting.
After wiring a flat 4 wire trailer connection. (Not included from Thor.)
This light bar is just a plugin. Other than reverse wire.
The bar has brake, running, turn signal, 4ways, and backup lighting.
It is really very bright. The backup lighting is incredible. It is like turning on your high beams but behind you. Really helps when backing in to my drive in the dark.
I have included some pict.
