the best choice for recliners/couch 5 foot width

I have a couch now that is uncomfortable since its one of the pool out with a blow up mattress. hate it, makes you slouch. Would love to get two recliners that turn to face the TV but not much room so maybe just a comfortable couch. Any suggestions out there? What do you think?

When we replaced our sofa we went with Rec-Pro. Ordered on Sunday, they were delivered on Wednesday. Wife and I installed in about an hour, we like them very much.

Anything that fits and it does not need to be secured to the floor. It's too heavy to move. If it should happen to move place a block of wood or an l bracket in front of it and screw that to the floor.

I put in a RecPro reclining loveseat. Installation was pretty easy. Seems very comfy, though I haven't spent a lot of time in it yet.

I installed a dual recliner a few years back. The love seat hide-a-bed was starting to look a bit tired. Wasn't difficult to bolt down to the floor and if fit thru a rather narrow entry door. Anything that isn't bolted down will continue moving regardless of weight in a panic stop or a front impact.

Rec-pro here too. We live about an hour from them so drove down. Picked out a dual reclining loveseat with center storage/cup holders. This was in our old MH. Plus we replaced the chair with a reclining one. One of the best mods we did to the rig.

I have a 2018 palazzo 33.2 that has the storage compartment under the couch, has anyone changed theirs out without having to modify the storage area? This couch is really uncomfortable and would like theatre seating.

Disagree. In case of a collision, we don’t want a hundred pound piece of furniture flying around. Bolt it down.

I put in the Thomas Payne theater seeat

We love them they.
They lay almost flat and I've slept in them more that once when we had guest with us.
I did bolt then down and use the seatbelts.
They are a perfect fit in our 24.1.
There is storage behind the chairs.
You get there by removing center console back.

We have a 2018 Thor Windsport 29m. The sofa bed behind the drivers seat was uncomfortable to sit on and we had no need for more bed space. However, while at Camping World I noticed the side by side electric recliners by Thomas Payne. They have cup holders, massage, heat and recline. Took them home and when we put them on the platform I realized they would catch the window handles when they reclined. NO PROBLEM!! Field engineering took over. I looked at the bottom and where the feet were, figured out how far the chairs needed to slide forward then went to Lowe's and bought some angle steel about I" I think and made a base to set the two chairs in. Measured it out, bolted them in place and they only stick out about 4 inches and they work great. Think I've heard of other brands that may fit in without needing this but I just did that and was done!! Like them a lot----Bob Trice

Did they fit on your platform without going over the edge or did you have to modify anything??

In my 24.1 they over hang the slide, but that is the front mounting point. I also removed the rubber feet to lower seat height.

I was wondering if this is electric. I went to RecPro's website and could not find any that appeared to be powered??? Bob

Anybody out there replace their sofa on an ACE 29.3 with theater seating? Two heater vents come out the front of the sofa on the bottom panel, and the tubing that feeds the vents runs under the sofa. What did you do with those?
