Angry Axxera radio

I have a 2018 Quantum ws31 with the Axxera radio that doesn't have Nav or XM Sirus which Axxera radio would be a direct plug and play swap for my coach . If it didn't turn off everytime you put the turn signal on would be a nice feature also. Thanks for any input

Assume your Axxera has Bluetooth....? If you have a Sirius subscription already, you can now load their app on your mobile device and stream with no extra charge. I loaded app last night, and will be experimenting with this feature in the rig over the weekend.

Using the Googley Map or Waze app may or may not work to Axxera via Bluetooth as well - another experiment, unless someone else has already documented.

My radio is a couple of years older; but if you explore the radio settings you may find an option to fit your "turn signal turn off" issue. Just be aware that changing one option may affect something else.

Any double din radio will fit where yours is now.
I doubt axxera is plug and play within the axxera brand.
Pick a radio on amazon, have it installed at a stereo install place.

I recently purchased a motorcycle carrier for my Chateau 31W. Since I've been using it I put the rear camera view on my Axxera radio on and leave it on to keep an eye on my cycle. I noticed when the rear camera is on and I activate a turn signal, the camera view switches normally to that side mirror view, however the sound no longer mutes. I didn't care for the muting of the sound each time I used the turn signal, and to make it worse the sound didn't come back up to normal volume until about 10 seconds after the turn signal was turned off. Leaving the rear camera on does make for an extra step when switching stations, or doing anything with the radio, but in my opinion the trade off for not having my music muted is worth it.

We replaced our Axxera with a Kenwood DDX6706S purchased through a credit card reward program so only had to pay the $100 installation at Best Buy. It was installed in about an hour and the tech appeared to be knowledgeable. It seems that we have read a lot of complaints about the Axxera here on the Forum and we had a couple of problems that were quickly resolved but then it went dead and we couldn't resuscitate it. Thanks to everyone who offered assistance, advice, etc. You folks are a wealth of knowledge!

You cN plug a Sirius radio tuner to the back of the unit, if your radio has the Sirius label on it...
