The Missus is working on a new set of privacy curtains that cover up the windshield, and side windows.
When she gets them sorted-out: I'll post some pics!

On our last long cross country trip through the southern states I just draped a blanket down from the overhead bunk to the floor to keep the cab area separated from the back of the coach. Worked great. Thinking about an expandable rod and curtain setup while driving.

I have a Sprinter 24ss class C and my concern was privacy while boondocking at Wal-Mart, without installing the bothersome curtains around the cockpit w/s and windows. I simply purchased a 6' x 1'' dowel and stapled & glued a piece of beige fleece material to it. It tucks nicely between the mattress and the edge of the bunk and stores rolled-up, in the bunk, when not in use. It's simple, economical and installs in seconds.

Welcome to the Forum!
The curtains that come with the Sprinters are a bit bulky; aren't they?
We should have opted for the optional ones that deployed like window blinds.
But we let the salesman talk us out of them!

UPDATE: The Missus is getting close to her final version. She has been experimenting with different attachment methods, and has decided that Velcro will work the best...
She's re-cutting one of the side curtains, and is hoping to get them finished this weekend.
When they go up: there will be pictures!

So, which side of the curtain is yours?

I just go where I'm told...

I'm actually pretty proud of her...
In spite of the fact that's she's in a life-threatening battle with her health: she's put her best possible efforts into this...

Outstanding! Sounds like she has her heart and head in the right place. Her focus in life now is to "have faith" and yours is to continue "going where you're told".

Ta-da!!

Here are the fruits of her labors...
First: a shot of the OEM curtains, and then a comparison of the difference in the sizes of them, and the ones that the Missus nailed together.
(Hers are in the plastic bag on top of the OEMs...

Finally: A couple of shots from the outside...
The only thing that we didn't test was at night: with the inside of the RV lit up.
Since they are quilted material: I don't see a problem...

Thanks...

one thing I almost forgot to mention:
We will still be using the OEM privacy curtains for long-term storage, and for when it's sitting in our driveway. We figure that they'll hold up better to the Sun's rays over a longer period of time. Kathy's curtains will be for use when we're travelling, and we're looking for ways to make better use of the space that we have. As you can see: the OEMs are about the size of a collapsible camp chair; while hers are about the size of a small travel pillow...

Nice job on the "trip curtains". Maybe you should get her a "sheshed" and we will send in our orders. I'd buy that.

Thanks, but she's trying to catch up on her quilting right now...
She doesn't need a sheshed: she already stole my Library!

Curtain

We have one directly behind the captains chairs and another closing off the master bedroom so it has s smaller area to keep cool. They do work good but in fairness we’ve had all the windows tinted (including the windshield) and we still hang our foil curtains and plug our ceiling vents with 3” foam insulation. Combined they work together very well when we have to drive into and out of Las Vegas in the summer.
