Coffeemaker Mounting
I got tired of setting up and taking down my coffeemaker (Kerug-style one cup - $20 Wally World) everytime I take the RV out.
**Checked the base to make sure it was safe to drill a 1/8" hole through it and into the countertop.
**Drilled hole through coffeemaker and into countertop.
**Using some odds 'n' ends washers and a 2" screw permanently mounted it on the counter by the door and to the rear of the sink so it can can easily be connected to outlet on side of kitchen counter. (This is where I was using it before being permanenty mounted.)
One less thing to pack/unpack plus it gave me more room for the GF to bring "just a few things" (wink, wink).
If occasion arises can easily back out screw and remove coffeemaker and fill small hole with some putty and paint to match counter.

I did the same thing last year I think it was.... Mine is a Keurig and is a bit bigger than your machine, but same idea...so far there has not really been a downside.
I was a bit concerned about resale and such, but I figured I could probably come up with a nice looking solution to fill the hole when the time comes. Hopefully there won't be too much damage at the screw site....
One thing I did, was to use a good sealant when I put the screw in. I figure there's a really good chance for water spills to seep under it from time to time, and if it gets into the particle board core under the laminate it would probably swell

a brand new coffee maker or a new counter top?
When I did mine, I considered that even if I end up replacing the entire counter top, it'll be not that big of a job and worth it to me....

Wouldn't industrial strength Velcro hold it in place. I have used it in some applications that have held solid for years.

Or brew some tea. Plenty variety out there on the grocer's shelves.
