glad it worked out for you but it still doesn't solve the problem of having to crawl under there with the slide out to open the valves

Door holding device

Mount a telescoping tube inside upper cabinet. When you open the cabinet you pull it out. It will hold the door open parallel to the ground. When finished, push it back in.

Congratulations on the easy solution, and welcome to the forum!

This is easy:
Answer the door using a walker, and wearing an eye-patch.
Even if he does slug you: he'll feel just awful about it!

Bob - You have to have a sense of humor to be really successful at this stuff. Great comment. And thanks for the welcome.

You never know where a conversation will lead. Still researching props, rods, and other devices. Will try to update when I find my solution. Thanks everyone.

Take your time... It's better to only have to figure these things out once...
I think that you've received some pretty decent suggestions (probably none from me… ): kick them around, and start with the easiest ones first! (If they're wrong: you can quickly eliminate them!). Eventually you'll find the perfect fit!
