Storage compartment drain plugs?

On my prior coach, a Forest River Sunseeker, every exterior storage compartment had a screw in type (about 1/2 or 3/4 inch diameter) drain plug. These were nice because I could use the water hose to rinse out the compartments after a trip.

I would like to install something similar on the Challenger.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a decent plug that could be used? I would like for the plug to be surface mounted and as flush to the surface as possible.

Dave,

You might try looking at Lowes or Home Depot for a pvc or some such
plug that you can drill a hole to mount then screw in the plug.

Storage Compartment Plug

Marine supply firms and marinas sell plugs for power boats that slip in a hole and expand when the lever is flipped down. AND, they are water tight

Bob

Thanks. I'll be at an RV and Marine dealer in a week or two so I'll wander around their parts department and take a look at what they have to offer.
