I also worry about the "kids" while we are away when it is hot out. I have been more inclined to leave the AC off, open the windows and turn on the exhaust fans. They will run even if we lose AC power. It can get pretty warm in the MH like this but will not turn into an oven if we lose power. Jim.

Depend where in the country you are... And time of year.
Warmer (hotter!) areas may get too hot inside for pets even with fans. If doing so, I would certainly want some kind of temp monitoring.

It came from the factory with it. We have residential fridge (from the factory), so it is standard equipment.
