More good news again today; as when I got home at lunch and my new HUD was in the mailbox. Now to get time to get that little toy set up.
I hope to post the conclusion of the shower curtain rod sometime this month. I was told the mounting brackets had to be special ordered!!?? Who would make a bunch of shower curtain rods but no mounting brackets?
I just hope the "special screws" come with the "special brackets". Only time will tell.

Happy to hear your HUD arrived !
Re the shower curtain rod...doesn't it seem strange that they are installing these in all the new Axis Coaches, but do not have the necessary hardware to do so????!!!
Just does not make sense !

I got the HUD up and running. A few rough edges, some tight spaces, but it is cool. I have MPH, TACH, Voltage and a couple of other items. Need to figure desired temperature for conversion of C to F (not an option I could find in the manual). Also, the conversion for Liters/hour of fuel use.
I routed the cable up under the dash cover for now.

HUD UPDATE:
Went to KOA campground in Marble (next to Murphy) NC. Spent two nights and noticed something I was not expecting with the HUD unit.
When on Shore Power the HUD monitors the voltage going to (thru or from) the batteries. My guess it is showing that they are being charged...please any of the more knowledgeable out there please chime in.
BTW: At the Campground I turned off the Shore Power and the HUD shut down.
I turned on the genny and after a couple of minutes the HUD lite back-up showing 13.5.
Right now in the driveway and hooked up to Shore Power is is showing 13.5 amps.
Just observing and guessing here.
