RV remote lock

Has anyone out there replaced there RV lock for a remote unit on a Thor four wind. It seems to be different from the common locks they have

I put one of these on my Class A If they have youre model they work great and highly recommended But not cheap $200-235 But they run sales all the time Got %40 off on Black Friday

Called Rvlock and was told it does not work for my replacement.

Me too, same locking mechanism and same answer from RVLOCK, sure wish they made one in our size..

Our SOB coach has a remote that locks the entrance door plus lower compartments. If I had known this type of equipment was available I would have installed it on my Challenger. Pretty nice never carrying keys around plus just one push of the button locks all my doors for the night.

We have the same lock set on our Quantum. I am interested in a keyless entry option / replacement. Please re-post if you find one. I will also post if I see anything available.

Here is a pic of what I did to make the same lock on my RV remote. Purchase a SMALL MICRO DOOR LOCK Actuator Motor 2 Wire 12V DLSM2. Installed it as you see in the picture, it’s a 2 wire unit and route the cable to the drivers side hinge side and attached to the Drivers remote lock and added 2 on and off switch to turn off the RV driver and passenger side so the remote will open only the cabin door only .
Switch one activate all doors.
Switch two activates only the cabin door.

Ubides, I applaud your ingenuity and resourcefulness, if I cannot find something soon to replace my lock (which is just like yours), I'll probably go the same route. If I decide to tackle it, I may ask more questions or seek advice/parts from you. A couple of questions I would like to ask, you mention other locks, do you have locks on your basement doors as well or where? Also, I'd like to have the wires to the switch hidden, did you do that or try? Ultimately, I'd like to put remote locks on all my doors but I'd want something that can be controlled by just two remotes....one for the main door and one for the basement doors.
