Installing CB Radio into Windsport 34R Guidance

As we are getting ready for our first "big" trip, I have decided to install a CB Radio. I am going to use a window mount antenna. Anyway, what is the best "wiring" to connect to?
I will have a person familiar to radio installation, but I want to confirm the best way. I would think only going through chassis wiring. Thoughts?

Also, I have an EZ Pass unit to install. In a normal vehicle, I know it goes below the rear view mirror. What is the best location in my Class A?

Thank you for your advice.

When i had a CB, in a car not the MH, I had to experiment a little to find a 12v source that was isolated , as much as possible, from any alternator noise. If you don't you may have that noise transmitted thru to your CB and its annoying!

I have my EZ pass just sitting on the dash up against the windshield it stays put and works for me. Class A also.

I put my TxTag in the center of the windshield as high up as it would go. It has worked fine for 2 years.

As for a CB, there is no place on a RV for a ground-plane so transmitting anything is a hit and miss depending on where the receiver is located. A left forward mount near the radio antenna is probably the easiest as you can follow the path of the radio coax. My CD is below the heater- A/C controls.

I use a hand held walkie talkie type works Great.
I only use in traffic jams listening to opposite way truck drivers giving directions or accident reports. Can't leave on due to the continuous "Salty Language" ....
